PartsTrader response to Covid-19

As circumstances change, we are here to help - please let us know if there are any changes to your business, so we can make sure PartsTrader works for you.
The New Zealand Government has deemed any entity providing services to keep vehicles operational for essential work purposes, e.g. mechanics including entities in their supply chains as essential services.

Communicating changes in parts supply

Suppliers: Once you have clarity on the delivery time for parts on open, approved and ordered quotes, please let the repairer know. If you are no longer able to supply, please delete the quote if the job is open or decline the order if the parts have been ordered.

RepairersIf you no longer require parts for open requests, please let the supplier know ASAP by withdrawing the request. If you will be unable to accept parts that have been ordered, please contact the supplier directly to advise.

How do I find my active jobs?


  • To delete any quotes on open requests, go to your 'sent quotes'folder
  • To find submitted quotes where the winner hasn't been picked, go to your 'quotes awaiting selection' folder - your open quotes are in here too
  • To find your winning quotes, go to your 'won quotes' folder
  • To find orders placed, go to your 'received orders' folder and also 'confirmed orders' folder
  • All of these jobs can also be found in your 'all quotes' folder
  • Repairers:

  • To find your approved requests, go to your 'ready to order' folder
  • To find your confirmed order details, go to your 'confirmed orders' folder

  •  We will ensure no one is disadvantaged in terms of ratings, withdrawal and lapsed job lockouts as a result of the measures put in place to control Covid-19 - if you have any questions or concerns, we are here to help.
